Savelle Brown, originally from Cecil County, MD, encountered the love of Jesus during a worship night in a season of deep personal searching marked by loneliness and striving. In that moment, she began walking with Him fully, and her life was forever changed. While attending Salisbury University, she experienced the power of authentic community rooted in Christ and developed a deep passion for campus ministry. During Cru’s Winter Conference, while praying for her next step of faith, Savelle clearly heard the Lord say, “Consider missions.” Now, through the Chicago Campus Initiative, she is walking out that calling by coming alongside students as they discover the fullness of life with Jesus and learn what it means to follow Him daily.
