Brianna Hernandez is a 2024 graduate of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Entering the University, Brianna faced deep struggles, often searching for fulfillment in places that left her feeling empty and isolated. Everything changed during her sophomore year when a friend invited her to a college ministry retreat, where she encountered Jesus in a life-changing way. Through her faith in Jesus, Brianna found healing, purpose, and a Christ-centered community that transformed her life and inspired a passion to help other college students experience the same hope and belonging. She loves building genuine community and connection with others and with God, not only through her work in college ministry but also through everyday moments—whether that’s hammocking and reading, trying new foods, hosting friends for coffee or homemade meals, taking long drives, or going on runs with friends.
